The Clark J. Haines Society

In May 2001, Classical 88.1 held its inaugural luncheon honoring the members of the Clark J. Haines Society.  Clark was one of the station’s founding members, and was the guiding spirit and inspiration behind Classical 88.1 from his founding in 1980 until his death in the summer of 2001.  Sadly, he passed away soon after our first luncheon which recognized his immense contribution to our organization.

We have held our Clark J Haines Society luncheon every year since then.  The Society recognizes station members who support the station with an annual gift of $1,000 or more.  While each and every one of our members is important to us, the members of Clark J. Haines Society are truly the backbone of the station, and represent a huge commitment to our present and future.
