CLASSICAL 88.1'S SECOND ANNUAL YOUNG TALENT SEARCH

Classical 88.1/WDPR is searching for outstanding young classical musicians in the Miami Valley.  The contest is open to all classical musicians and vocalists, 18 years of age and under, in the station’s listening area.  Winners will receive a prize package including savings bonds, gifts, an on-air interview on Classical 88.1, and a chance to perform in a public concert at the University of Dayton’s Sears Recital Hall on May 16, 2010. Winners will be notified by April 10, 2010.

Entrants must submit:

2. ** A 5-10 minute tape or CD (CD format only. DVDs will not be accepted.) of a solo performance or solo performance with accompaniment.  No ensembles (i.e. w/ orchestral accompaniment) allowed.  Tapes/CDs will not be returned.
