Playing the tuba in variety of different ensembles. Playing with my dogs Daisy (Yellow Labrador) and Bruckner ( Australian Cattle Dog and ???). Listening to and collecting music from Polkas to Russian Liturgical Music. Golf, which I desperately need to play more often. Eating. Playing basketball every once in awhile. Spending time with my family and friends.

MY FAVORITE BOOK

Its hard to pick honestly. Generally anything written by Oscar Wilde is a good bet.

MY FAVORITE MOVIE

Again, very hard to choose a favorite. Anything with The Muppets in it. The Matador is very near the top of my list, as is anything starring Rodney Dangerfield. Charade is also very high (who wouldn't want to watch a movie with Audrey Hepburn in it!) Alexander Nevsky and Ivan the Terrible, and The Battleship Potemkin, these for the musical scores alone. Last but certainly not least, Meet the Robinsons. Ask me next week and im sure i'll have more.

This is HARD. These are in no particular order...Sir William Walton, Hector Berlioz, Franz Schmidt, Hans Rott, Richard Strauss, Anton Bruckner, Gustav Mahler, Dmitri Shostakovich, Richard Wagner, Sergei Prokofiev, Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Sir Edward Elgar, Sir Malcolm Arnold, Carl Nielsen, Derek Bourgeois, Ralph Vaughan-Williams, Giovanni Gabrieli, Dietrich Buxtehude, Ottorino Respighi, Aaron Copland, Sergei Rachmaninov, Vassily Kalinnikov, Tomaso Albinoni, Bela Bartok, Zoltan Kodaly...these are just a few. Trust me, the are many many many more.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT DAYTON

All the arts and entertainment that this city packs in to such a relativly small size. Having a wonderful 24-hour classical music station. My friends. The traffic isn't too much of a headache. The idea of having several wonderful orchestras and opera companies within a 1 1/2 hour drive.
