Meet our new Director of Development, Stephanie Llacuna
A native of Dayton, harpist and harp teacher, Stephanie performs regularly as a soloist and orchestral harpist throughout Ohio. She has been playing the harp for over twenty years and has been teaching harp lessons and playing professionally for over a decade.
Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Music in Orchestral Performance from the Ohio State University. She studied the harp primarily under Jeanne Norton of Columbus Ohio, and has also studied with Alice Chalifoux and Leslie Stratton Norris. In addition, she studied for three summers at the Salzedo School for harp in Camden, ME.
Stephanie also plays regularly with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra and other groups in the Dayton region including the Bach Society of Dayton, the Westminster Presbyterian Choir, and the Dayton Chamber Chorale. Additionally, she has performed with the Dayton Opera, the Springfield Symphony, the Miami Valley Symphony, the Harps of Grace, the ProMusica Chamber Orchestra, and played the harp part for the Off-Broadway tour of Peter Pan with Cathy Rigby in 2005.
