We would love to have you as a Volunteer!
We have several different types of opportunities for volunteering here
at Classical 88.1.
- Membership Drives
- Miscellaneous Tasks
Volunteer at Our Membership Drives
In the fall and spring, we have our on-air Membership
Drives. During these times, we need a number of volunteers to
come and answer phones and take pledges for the week of the drives.
You
will meet new and interesting people who share your love of both
volunteering and classical music.
We will even feed you a meal
or two! Shifts
are two to four hours and we will make every effort to accommodate
your schedule.
Help Us Out With Miscellaneous Tasks
In addition to our Membership Drives,
there are a few other ways to support WDPR through your volunteer
efforts.
We have:
- monthly mailings
- data entry
- light office work
- updating our Arts Calendar
- cataloging
the CD Library
- and help during public events.
Our public events
volunteers assist with WDPR promotional tables at classical or
opera-related concerts. The main skill necessary is to meet and
greet people with a smile!
